DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival to Quito. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2: Excursion to Otavalo and its famous indigenous market. It starts departing to the north of Quito while crossing beautiful lakes, valleys and snow-covered mountains. You’ll visit small populations like Calderón, known for the making of “mazapan” dolls and Guayllabamba where you will taste “chirimoyas”, typical fruits from the area. You will have free time at the Otavalo Market (the most outstanding from South America) to find handmade woolen coats, colorful carpets, wood carvings, paints, silver jewelry, hats made of wool and straw and more. Lunch and return to the capital.



DAY 3 TO DAY 5: Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Coca (35 minutes). Then you’ll take a transfer on a boat through the majestic Napo River. Throughout the journey you will be able to observe a huge diversity of animals until you arrive to the Napo Wildlife Center Lodge, an eco-hotel located in the middle of a humid-tropical forest. Daily excursions are planned along with the tour guide depending on the interest and physic shape of the passengers; all of this under the comfort of a hot shower, a delicious meal and a cold beer at the end of the evening.
